WIth over a decade of experience as a pillar of Artisan’s stellar senior management team, Mario Merturi raises the banquet bar, working closely with Executive Chef Frederic Kieffer to deliver exquisite cuisine with impeccable service. He understands that each event is unique and each client deserves distinct attention to detail.
Merturi comes to Blue Back with over twenty-five years in Banquet Management and Operations Services. For many of those years Mario was fully responsible for all catering and conference activities in Hyatt Regency Greenwich’s 373-room, Four-Diamond facility. Standing at the helm of the conference services managers, catering managers and staff, Merturi elicited loyalty, hard work and dedication from his team, earning him a reputation for results.
In 2003 Mario accepted the offer to bring his expertise to l’escale and later to Artisan Southport, bringing his signature style to this beloved establishment. His efforts have been rewarded with countless accolades including Moffly Media’s Best Wedding Venue and countless referred clients - his truest testament to a job well done.
Now, he joins the Artisan team once again, to ensure the legacy of understated luxury is enjoyed by all in the Greater Hartford Area.
